I just happened to notice that if I was interested in doing so I could receive the eQSL WAS and eQSL DXCC awards. I’d just have to become at least a bronze member to print out the certificates.
I upload to eQSL because it is pretty automated from my logging program and it might help others if they are using it but I really don’t use it. I think it would be great if everyone used ARRL’s LoTW for electronic QSLing but I understand some folks have issues with the ARRL or it’s a hassle for them to get it working though I don’t have issues with either.

I have made several attempts to get LOTW working for me but each time I give up because of the obstacle course you have to negotiate to join. I now use eQSL AG and I will reply to bureau and direct cards if I receive them. I can’t believe that in these days of user friendly computer system the ARRL could come up with such a ridiculous system as LOTW. I predict that it will lead to the demise of ARRL awards if it is allowed to continue without being made much more user friendly. I already have my DXCC from years ago.
Paul,
I didn’t have any issues when I signed up but I know others that have run into some problems. In all cases I’m aware of it has been possible to help the individual get things up and running. There’s also a Yahoo Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ARRL-LOTW/ that provides assistance or answer to questions about it, supported by other hams. I know that LoTW has provided me with a great benefit with DXCCs confirmed via LoTW that I don’t yet have confirmed via paper QSL cards.
You can email me directly if you’d like help or join the LoTW Yahoo group.
